Turtle Conservation Fair held on Phang-Nga beach 6 Mar 2007
The Turtle Conservation fair is now being held at Thai Muang beach in Phang Nga. The opening ceremony of the event was presided over by Governor Winai Buapradit who encourages local residents and visitors to help conserve the rare creatures. 

The fair features sea turtle conservation activities plus the ornamental fish and coral preservation. Local products are put on sale while stage entertainments are also arranged each evening until the end of the fair on March 10th.
